Journalist Shalu Mehta (London Free Press) experiences an afternoon of Indigenous teachings with Dan Pelletier, the Eagle Flight Singers & Dancers and the Students of Academie de la Tamise. For the third year, the school has held a small Pow Wow to help the youth gain a greater understanding of Indigenous cultures.

I try to speak to somebody from heart to heart so they can remember. We have to come to a place so we can walk side by side in a good way, and that understanding needs to begin here.
